Bet of the day

PSV -1 on handicap 9/10

PSV could clinch the Eredivisie title for the 25th time in their first success for six years on Thursday and they can do it in style with a clear-cut win at Heerenveen.

The Eindhoven-based club lead second-placed Feyenoord by nine points with four matches left and both teams are in action on Thursday as the team from Rotterdam visit Go-Ahead Eagles.

A victory for PSV would just about seal the championship regardless of the Feyenoord result as their goal difference is already superior by 24 goals and effectively worth a further point.

PSV are 1/3 to win their game but a much more attractive price at 9/10 on the -1 handicap to beat Heerenveen by at least two goals.

The home side are a solid enough mid-table outfit but their win over Heracles on Sunday was their first success in six games and they have not beaten PSV since 2017.

PSV won the teams' first meeting this season 2-0 in December and have been racking up the goals as they close in on the title, beating AZ Alkmaar 5-1 and Vitesse Arnhem 6-0 in their last two games.

American defender Sergino Dest is out for PSV with a knee injury but they should still be too strong for a Heerenveen team who have not won any of their last three home matches.

Special of the day

BetBuilder - Manchester City to win, Manchester City -2 on Corner Handicap, Phil Foden to Score Anytime - 5/1

Manchester City have had five days to recover from their FA Cup semi-final exertions and should prove too strong for Brighton in Thursday's only Premier League game.

While they appeared to be feeling the effects of their Champions League clash with Real Madrid when edging to a 1-0 success over Chelsea at Wembley, the champions are unbeaten in their last 17 league games and have scored 13 goals in their last three top-flight victories over Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Luton.

A trip to Brighton might have been a daunting prospect for the top teams in recent seasons, but the Seagulls are out of sorts at the moment, taking only two points from their last four league games. They also have a poor head-to-head record against City, with the Manchester side winning 12 of their last 14 meetings.

The Citizens have been racking up corners in their recent games, earning all 15 flag-kicks in their second leg against Madrid and having eight compared to Chelsea's four at Wembley. After winning the corners battle 12-1 against Luton and 9-2 against Palace, City -2 on the corner handicap looks worth adding to a City victory in our Bet Builder.

Complete the wager for a potential 5/1 payout by including Phil Foden to score at any time. The England ace opened the scoring at the Amex in last season's meeting and scored a hat-trick against Aston Villa recently as well as a phenomenal strike against Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Long shot of the day

Norrkoping to beat Elfsborg 21/10

The Swedish season is in its infancy and Norrkoping could be undervalued as home underdogs for their match against Elfsborg.

Norrkoping got off to a slow start with a 5-1 home defeat by champions Malmo, but they have collected four points from their last two games, beating a GAIS team who already have two wins and securing an away draw at IFK Gothenburg.

Elfsborg were runners-up in Sweden last season but have lost their last two games to Hammarby and Kalmar and their only success so far this year was a 1-0 win over last-placed Vasteras who are yet to earn a point this season.

The visitors were odds-on when prices first came out for this game but still look overrated at 1/1 and Norrkoping offer some value at 21/10.
